Exercise Your CCPA Rights
If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific protections and rights regarding your personal data. At TheFreeQuotes.com, we are committed to transparency and respecting your privacy. Your rights under the CCPA include:
- Right to Access: You have the right to request a copy of the specific personal data we have collected about you.
- Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information from our records and systems.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: You can direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal data with third parties.
How to Submit a Request
To exercise any of these rights, please use our online submission form or contact us via our support line at 201-201-1238.
Support Hours (Pacific Time):

Important Information for Requests
- Individual Requests: To ensure accuracy, please file a separate request for each CCPA right you wish to invoke. We handle all requests sequentially in the order received.
- Verification Process: Whether you use our digital form or call us, we require specific details to confirm your California residency and verify your identity. This is a security measure to protect your data. You may specify your preferred method for follow-up communication.
- Legal Exceptions: Please note that under certain conditions, we may not be able to fulfill a request. For example, we cannot delete or provide access to data if we cannot verify your identity. Additionally, certain legal exceptions may allow us to retain specific data even after a deletion request. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Authorized Agents
If you are using an authorized agent to submit an “Access My Data” or “Delete My Data” request:
- The agent must provide proof of registration with the California Secretary of State.
- The agent must provide written, signed permission from you to act on your behalf.
- We may still contact you directly to verify your identity.
For “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” requests submitted by an agent, the same requirements (State registration and signed authorization) apply.
